ACC Basketball Tourney: Conference Tournament 1954 thru 2008

The men's ACC basketball tourney has been played since 1954. Here's a breakdown of ACC tournament championships by conference member:

Duke has won the ACC basketball tournament 16 times including seven out of the last nine years. North Carolina has won the ACC conference tournament 16 times including the 2007 championship. North Carolina State has 10 ACC tourney titles followed by Wake Forest with 4, Maryland and Georgia Tech with 3 each, Virginia with 1, and South Carolina(now in the SEC) with 1. The 2008 ACC basketball tourney will be played at Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina March 13 through March 16.
