Big Ten Basketball Tourney: Conference Tournament 1998 thru 2008

The men's Big Ten basketball tourney has been played since 1998. Here's a breakdown of Big Ten tournament championships by conference member:

Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Iowa have each won the Big Ten basketball tournament 2 times each. Michigan has won the Big Ten conference tournament one time. The 2009 Big Ten basketball tourney will be played at Canseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 12 through March 15. Wisconsin is the defending Big Ten tournament champion as they beat Illinois in the final game of the 2008 Big Ten tourney which also took place at Canseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
