Mounatin West Basketball Tourney: MWC Tournament 2000 thru 2008
The men's Mountain West basketball tourney has been played since 2000, the first full season the conference existed. Here's a breakdown of MWC tournament championships by conference member:
San Diego State and UNLV have both won the Mountain West basketball tournament 2 times. BYU, Colorodo State, Utah, and New Mexico have all won the MWC basketball tournament one time each. The 2008 Mountain West basketball tourney will be played at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from March 12 through March 15. UNLV is the defending Mountain West tournament champion as they beat BYU to win the 2007 MWC tourney.
